The World Arena in Colorado Springs is more than just an event venue. It comfortably sits at least 8,000 guests and offers more amenities than most hotels and resorts do. Opening its doors in 1998, it is home to more than just sporting events. The capacity increases to 9000 for concerts and the like.

Guests need not worry about their comfort, convenience, safety and accessibility. The venue is fully equipped with a first aid station, several restrooms with diaper changing stations, water fountains, ATMs, telephones and taxi service. For those with special needs, access ramps and special seating for the differently-abled are available throughout the premises. Assistive listening devices may even be borrowed for those who need such.

As a sporting venue, it is more popularly used for hockey games and other ice skating events. Just in case the arena itself is not enough to host your skating event then the additional two rinks from the adjacent Ice Hall will do the trick. Other than ice rink-related sports, the venue is used to showcase basketball games.

This November, there are 2 shows from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Watch out for the Harlem Globetrotters as they play a couple of games in January interspersed with several shows of Quidam from the world renowned Cirque du Soleil. Carrie Underwood will be having a concert there in February. In between those, the CC Hockey will be showcasing their prowess against different opponents from November until March next year. Tickets for World Arena events are easily accessed through BoxOfficeTicketSales.com.
